How the U.S. Screens Refugees

The following infographic comes from The White House’s website (Click HERE) to visit the page for yourself. Not only is it interesting just to get to know all the work people on the ground in refugee camps are doing to figure out who goes where, but it’s illuminating to see that “refugees are subject to the highest level of security checks of any category of  traveler to the United States.” Also, note that, “less than 1% of global refugee population” gets to move past the first step of assessment.

There are much easier ways for terrorists to come to the U.S. than applying as a refugee. So please be kind to the refugee family who moves into the house next door, not afraid.
